Believing in guardian angels has been practised since mankind.

But do you know Alwine, Effi, Rosine or Mabel?

Under these names you will find angels who at first sight don’t like to be recognized as such. They look more like people living amongst us: A little plump one or a tall, skinny one, sometimes upright, sometimes eccentric, girlish, neat, fine, resolute or governesslike, Just girls, who know about life and do their hard job well.

Astrid Schneider, the designer of these very indigenous holy workers must have looked around very carefully in her district when she created these enchanting and a little queer unique copys from papermache, well knowing that guardian angels do live amongst us: Discreet, assistent, quick and modest, roguish, mild, patient, pardened, pert.

Normally a guardian angel is no snob, he may be a punk or, like the rednosed EDNA, who seems to have had one too many. Diets or silicon boobs are none of their business, well, their breasts may slip or their tummy disappear under a big flowery sack-shaped dress... like in real life.

For whomever you decide – we find: everybody needs one and everybody should have one.
